This is also known as sago kheer, it is an Indian sweet dish which is made very often in festive occasions.

Sabudana Kheer

Recipe for Sabudana Kheer


(1) Sadudana- 250 grams
(2) Milk- 1 litre
(3) Kesar/saffron as required
(4) Sugar- 10 teaspoon
(5) Elaichi- 3
(6) Cashew nuts- 100 grams
(7) Almonds- 100 grams
(8) Dry raisins- 100 grams


(1) Take milk in a wok and get it to a boil. Add 2-3 drops of saffron in the milk.

(2) Now add crushed elaichi and in the milk. Boil it on slow flame till the milk becomes thick.

(3) After around ten mins add sugar and boil it again.

Your delicious Kheer is ready!
