Recipe for Tomato Boat

Ingredients

(1) Tomato- 3
(2) Peanut soaked- 40 grams
(3) Coriander- 2 tablespoons
(4) Garlic crushed- 1
(5) Green Chilli- as required
(6) Salt to taste
(7) Cumin powder- as required
(8) Jaggery syrup- as required

Method

(1) Cut tomatoes from upper side and remove the seeds and pulp and make cups.

(2) Grind the peanut and chop the coriander leaves.

(3) Then mix garlic, salt, chillies, cumin powder, jaggery syrup in the mixture.

(4) Stuff the tomato with the peanut mixture.

Serve it!

This is fast and easy to make without any complications.

Recipe for Broiled Fingerling Potato

Ingredients

(1) Fingerling potato (sliced) - 400 grams
(2) White Vinegar- 2 cups
(3) Salt as required
(4) Olive Oil for brushing
(5) Pepper as required

Method

(1) Heat a wok, add potato slices and vinegar and mix well, bring it to boil then lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes till potatoes get firm.

(2) Keep it aside for half an hour so that it will get cool down, then drain it with paper.

(3) Preheat the broiler and keep the rack 5 inches above the heat, then take a pan, put the potato slices, add olive oil, pepper and salt in it and toss to get coated.

(4) Arrange the potato slices on single layer in rack, broil it for 8 minutes then flip the slices and do the same so what the other part of the potato slice will be broiled too but broil for just 6 minutes because its already cooked 60%.

Broiled Fingerling Potato, serve and enjoy!

Recipe for Coffee White Sauce and Walnut Parfait

Ingredients

(1) Walnuts (chopped) - 100 grams
(2) Coffee powder- 1 tablespoons
(3) Cocoa powder- 1 tablespoons
(4) Fresh Cream- 1 cup
(5) White Chocolate (grated) - 2 cups
(6) Whipped Cream- 3 cups

Method

(1) Heat the pan and add 1 cup cream in it and whisk nicely, then transfer it to a bowl and add cocoa powder, coffee powder and white chocolate in it and mix nicely and then place in it fridge for 15 minutes.

(2) Take a bowl, put some ice cubes as required and then add water, then place the chocolate mix over the cubes and mix well, then add chopped walnuts and mix further.

(3) Then add whipped cream in it and mix well, then put the mixture in cups and refrigerate it for 10 minutes.

Serve it chill!

Potato Au Gratin

Recipe for Potato Au Gratin

Ingredients

(1) Potato (peeled) - 4
(2) Grated Cheese- 2 cups
(3) Cream- 1/2 cup
(4) Milk- 1 cup
(5) Garlic- 1 or 2 cloves
(6)  Dried Parsley- 1/4 teaspoon

Method

(1) Preheat the oven at 180 degree C. In a pan heat milk.

(2) Slice the potatoes, cut the garlic clove and rub it all over the baking dish.

(3) Then add the milk in it and parsley and mix well, and remember not to boil the milk.

(4) In a baking dish, arrange the potato slices in layers overlapping each other pieces and then sprinkle half of the cheese and half of milk mixture over it.

(5) Arrange another layer of potato slices over that and sprinkle rest of the cheese and milk mixture over it.

(6) Cover the baking dish and bake it in preheated oven for 30 minutes, then remove the cover and bake again for 10 minutes till the top layer gets golden.

Potato Au Gratin is ready, garnish with broccoli, serve hot!

Poulet a La King

This is a French recipe; Poulet means chicken in French Cuisine. This is a creamy recipe made of chicken, cream and capsicum.

Recipe for Poulet a La King

Ingredients

(1) Chicken Breast (skinless) - 500 grams
(2) Mushroom (sliced) - 200 grams
(3) Capsicum (sliced) - 1
(4) Butter- 2 tablespoons
(5) Flour- 2 tablespoons
(6) Salt and Pepper to taste
(7) ChickenStock- 200 ml
(8) Cream- 250 ml
(9) Egg yolks- 2
(10) Paprika- 1 teaspoon
(11) Lemon Juice- 1 tablespoon

Method

(1) Steam the chicken and then allow it to cool and then cut it into strips.

(2) Heat the pan, melt butter in it, add mushrooms and pepper and sauté for few minutes till gets cooked up to 5 minutes, then stir in flour and seasonings.

(3) Add Chicken Stock in it and mix well, bring it to boil and stir till stock gets thickened, then add chicken pieces and cream and sauté well till chicken gets cooked.

(4) In a small bowl, beat the eggs, paprika and lemon juice nicely and then add in the chicken mixture and cook for few minutes.

Your Dish is ready, serve it hot with seasonings!

Roasted Onion and Eggplant

Quick and easy method to make roasted slices of eggplant with the flavor of rice.

Recipe for Roasted Onion and Eggplant

Ingredients

(1) Large onion (quartered) - 1
(2) Garlic- 1 clove
(3) Medium eggplant (baingan) - 1
(4) Chilli powder- ¼ teaspoon
(5) Olive oil for brushing
(6) Lemon juice to taste
(7) Cream Cheese- 1 cup
(8) Salt and black pepper to taste

Method

(1) Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

(2) Quarter onion and place on a baking sheet with eggplant and season lightly and drizzle with olive oil.

(3) Roast for 45 minutes, until eggplant is blackened and the skin wrinkled and then allow it to cool.

(4) Cut off and discard the end of eggplant. Place eggplant in a food processor with onion, cream cheese, and garlic, chilli powder and blend until completely smooth.

(5) Season with salt, pepper and lemon or lime juice to taste.


Your Roast Onion and Eggplant is ready!

Whole Baked Chicken


This delicious recipe is mostly called thanks giving dinner by American and French people because its a heavy food and served mostly in dinner.

Recipe for Baked Chicken

Ingredients

(1) Chicken whole (without skin) - 1
(2) Lemon juice- 2 teaspoons
(3) Ginger garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
(4) Green chillies- 4
(5) Oil- 1 teaspoon
(6) Plain flour- 20 grams
(7) Salt and pepper as per taste
(8) Lemon wedges and coriander leaves as required

Method

(1) Wash and dry chicken , grind chillies to paste then mix well with ginger, garlic & lemon then apply this on the chicken with oil and allow it to marinate for 3-4 hours

(2) Preheat the oven at 400 degree F.

(3) Mix salt and pepper in flour.  Arrange chicken on a grill rack skin side down. Sift half the seasoning over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes.

(4) Turn the chicken over and sift the remaining flour and grill for another 15 minutes till brown.

Your Baked Chicken is ready!

Vegetable Croquettes


It is also known as vegetable cutlet; the word croquette comes from French word ‘croquer’. Mostly it contains mashed potatoes, with some spices.

Recipe for Vegetable Croquettes

Ingredients

(1) Potato (boiled and mashed) - 500 grams
(2) Milk- 4 tablespoons
(3) Flour- 3 tablespoons
(4) Baking powder- ½ teaspoon
(5) Chillies- 3
(6) Coriander (chopped) as required
(7) Oil for frying the croquettes
(8) Salt to taste

Method

(1) Mix all the ingredients together.

(2) Oil your palms and divide the mixture into small parts.

(3) Shape each part into elongated rolls and deep-fry in oil till they becomes golden brown.

Your Vegetable Croquettes is ready!

Garnish it with coriander leaves  and you can also serve it with Tomato Sauce or Chilli Sauce.

Hot Raspberry Souffle

Recipe for Hot Raspberry Souffle

Ingredients


(1) Milk- 300 ml

(2) Sugar- 90 grams
(3) Egg yolks- 3 
(4) Egg whites- 3
(5) Cornflour- 20 grams
(6) Vanilla Essence- 1 teaspoon
(7) Raspberry Puree- 20 ml

Method


(1) Boil the milk with vanilla essence and on the other side whisk the egg yolks and sugar. Then add cornflour in it and whisk more.


(2) Add milk to the yolk, mix it well and then boil it till gets thickened. Then keep it aside for cooling.


(3) Then whisk the egg whites to soft peaks and fold it in the above mixture.


(4) Put the mixtures in moulds with butter and sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 10 minutes till the mixture rises.

Spinach and Pea Soup

This is a very healthy soup and takes less time to make.

Recipe for Spinach and Pea Soup

Ingredients

(1) Spinach (chopped)- 2 bunches
(2) Green peas (boiled)- 1 cup
(3) Oil- 1 teaspoon
(4) Onion- 1
(5) Salt to taste
(6) White pepper powder- ½ teaspoon
(7) Vegetable Stock- 1 ½ cup
(8) Fresh Milk-1 cup

Method

(1) Heat oil in pan and add chopped onions and cook for two minutes and then add spinach and cook it, then add green peas, salt, white pepper powder and cook for 1-2 minutes.

(2) Add the mixture in mixture grinder then add vegetable stock in it and make it  puree.
                                                                                                                 
(3) Then add the puree in the pan again and add milk and boil it.

Soup is ready, serve hot to 4 people.

Pommes De Terre Anna

This is the side dish in French Cuisine. It is crispy from outside and creamy from inside. It is also known as Anna potatoes.

Recipe for Anna Potatoes

Ingredients

(1) Potato- 1000 grams
(2) Cream- 350 grams
(3) Milk- 200 ml
(4) Salt to taste
(5) Pepper as required
(6) Mayonnaise Sauce- 700 ml

Method

(1) Peel the potatoes and cut them into round slices, the wash them nicely and keep aside to dry them.

(2) Then mix cream, milk, Mayonnaise Sauce and seasonings to make the mixture and keep them aside.

(3) Then in oven pan, pour little mixture in the base the add potato slices in 1st layer, then again pour the mixture over the potatoes and then make the 2nd layer as we did in first layer, make multiple layers one above the another (on the top layer mixture should be on top).

(4) Preheat the oven and then place the pan inside and cook it for 30 minutes at the temperature around 220 °C.

Your Pommes De Terre Anna is ready to be served!

Homemade French Fries

Recipe for French Fries

Ingredients


(1) Potato- 500 grams
(2) Oil to fry
(3) Salt to taste
(4) Black pepper to sprinkle

Method


(1) Use old to make French fries. New ones are moist and raw, that do not make French fries crispy. Peel the potatoes with the help of a peeler and wash them.


(2) Now cut them into long pieces, cut into French fries cut. Put the potato pieces into the water and wash it nicely.


(3) Boil French fries are before frying them. You can boil them into the water for 3-4 minutes. Put salt to it and let the water boil. Once the water starts to boil put the fries into it and boil for another 2 minutes.


(4) Now cover the pan and leave it for 5 minutes. Take out the French fries from the pan and spread on a clean cloth. Let them dry for 2 hours.


(5) Heat oil in pan to the extreme and deep fry the French Fries till it turns brown.


So your French Fries is ready, sprinkle black pepper on it and serve with some sauces which you prefer which I mention in Sauces category.
