Fish lover? Then who doesn’t like promfet ! Here's a dish of promfet which doesn't get any better. It's tandoori! Or in other words, BBQed !
Recipe for Tandoori Promfet
Ingredients
Method
(1) Wash and clean the promfet fishes. Make cuts on the promfet body with sharp blade. Add salt and lemon juice inside the cuts and keep it for 20 minutes.
(2) Add all the above ingredients (except butter/cooking oil)
(3) Put fish to the heating iron rods and heat it in already hot
(4) Take out the fish , apply butter on it and put it again in
(5) Serve hot with lemon pieces.
Recipe for Tandoori Promfet
Ingredients
(1) Promfet fish- 2 pieces , 300 grams each
(2) Salt
to taste
(3) Lemon
juice- 2 big spoon
(4) Dahi
(curd) - 3/4 cup
(5) Egg-
1
(6) Ginger
garlic paste- 2 big spoon
(7) Ajwain-
1/2 table spoon
(8) Besan-
2 big spoon
(9) Turmeric
powder- 1/2 table spoon
(10) Garam
masala powder- 1 tablespoon
(11) Butter/Cooking
oil- 2 big spoonMethod
(1) Wash and clean the promfet fishes. Make cuts on the promfet body with sharp blade. Add salt and lemon juice inside the cuts and keep it for 20 minutes.
(2) Add all the above ingredients (except butter/cooking oil)
to the fish and refrigerate for 1 hour.
(3) Put fish to the heating iron rods and heat it in already hot
tandoor or pre-heated oven to 280°C for 8-10 minutes.
(4) Take out the fish , apply butter on it and put it again in
the tandoor/over for another 3 minutes.
(5) Serve hot with lemon pieces.
